CheckoutSmart Terms & Conditions

CheckoutSmart rewards you with savings on your everyday supermarket shopping when you buy in-store or online.

You redeem rewards by submitting an image of your receipt or home shopping delivery note as proof of purchase.

You can redeem multiple offers with a single receipt. However, each purchase on a receipt may only be submitted to claim an individual offer a single time across the CheckoutSmart network which includes CheckoutSmart, cashback sites including but not restricted to Quidco ClickSnap, Swagbucks Magic Receipts, brand sites and other partners.

Offers which require the purchase of multiple items must be purchased in a single transaction, and items which are reduced to clear or reduced in price due to their short shelf life are not eligible for rewards.

All rewards are provided by CheckoutSmart, not the supermarkets at which they are purchased.

Each offer ends on the date listed, and we reserve the right to terminate offers at any time. All offers are redeemable only in the UK.

We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account holder's access to the Service, or parts of it, if in our reasonable view the relevant account holder or account appears to be in breach of any provision of this Agreement.

To qualify for rewards, each receipt must satisfy the following criteria:

  • The image of the full receipt must be entirely visible, including retailer name, store name, date and time of purchase, payment details (last 4 digits/cash), item/brand/category description for all items purchased and receipt code.
  • The receipt must be fully visible and must not be marked, folded or partially obscured.
  • If your receipt is too long to fit into a single image or is double-sided, you may submit a maximum of four images for each receipt. Images for multiple receipts submitted in a single submission will be rejected.
  • A maximum of 3 receipts may be submitted with the same purchase date.
  • Your purchase must be from one of the listed retailers in the UK only.
  • In-store purchases must be made after the offer start date and before the offer expiry date.
  • Online purchases must be delivered after the offer start date and before the offer expiry date.
  • Receipts must be submitted within 7 days of the purchase date, and please allow up to 14 days from submitting a receipt for your reward to track into your CheckoutSmart account.

All original receipts must be retained for 60 days post the receipt date to allow for further receipt verification steps which may include but are not limited to the re-submitting of receipts or sending of receipts via post to a nominated address in the UK at the member’s cost.

Each member may have only a single CheckoutSmart account for their own personal use.

Where there are multiple members in a household, no more than two member accounts may be linked to a single payment account (BACS/PayPal).

The same receipt may be submitted by a maximum of two accounts, but items listed may only be counted towards a claim once.

We reserve the right to decline rewards at any time where in our reasonable view these terms & conditions have not been met.
