You can now use barcode scanning to claim offers on products within the app.
Follow the on-screen instructions through the claim process and choose to scan the product(s) that you are claiming.
In a case where you can redeem a product multiple times, you can scan the product once and then alter the number of redemptions using the + and - buttons accordingly.
Your device must allow access to the camera and the auto-snapping feature must be enabled within the app settings, otherwise the scanning function will not work.
After product scanning, upload your receipt as normal.
If barcode scanning doesn't seem to be working, please try the following as they may resolve the issue:
1. Update your device software.
2. Update your CheckoutSmart app version.
Unfortunately, if you are using Android 8.0 (Oreo) or older software, the barcode scanning function will not work. Google Play no longer supports new versions of our app for old Android versions.
